Operation Thank a Veteran – The Mayor’s Office of Veterans Services

Volunteered at “Operation Thank a Veteran” last Saturday with Boston Rotaract and the Downtown Boston Rotary Club.

Engaged with veterans who served in the United States military to thank them for their service and provide them with information on resources available to them and their families from the City of Boston.

Got to meet Marty Walsh, the 54th Mayor of Boston!

Boston is home to more than 22,000 veterans. So far, the Mayor’s Office of Veterans Service has reached out to more than 3,000 veterans. They need volunteers to help them engage former service members.

United Airlines NYC Half

Running the United Airlines NYC Half was on my bucket list for this year. Today I got to cross it off that list.

Thanks to Rotaract Club of Manhattan NYC and the NY Chinatown Rotary Club for giving me a spot on the CaringKind – The Heart of Alzheimer’s Caregiving Athletes To End Alzheimer’s team.

We were able to raise a little less than $50,000 for Alzheimer’s and dementia caregiving.

NYCRUNS Queens Half Marathon next!

Full speed ahead to running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon in October! Will be fundraising for an awesome Bulgarian organization!

2019 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon

The 2019 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon is just three days away!

I’ll be running this 13.1-mile race on Sunday, featuring a field of over 20,000 runners starting in Prospect Park, crossing the Manhattan Bridge, and finishing the run in NYC’s running staple, Central Park.

Our Athletes To End Alzheimer’s team has raised a total of $44,116! That’s tremendous – thanks to everyone who supported the cause!

You can still donate:

Alzheimer’s and dementia never give up, and we can’t either!
